Amati UK Ltd processes* personal information in order to be able to run our business as you would expect. When requested to act on your behalf, Amati UK Ltd will use your information to carry out identification checks as part of our legal obligation before entering into contract.
Amati UK will process your information to perform contracted activities, in order for you to meet your accounting and tax obligations. As examples, these activities may include (but are not limited to) registering new businesses, updating details, filing personal tax, corporation tax, payroll, VAT and MOSS returns with HMRC, and registering new companies, keeping statutory records, changes to company details, filing annual confirmation statements and filing company accounts with Companies House, and filing annual returns, accounts and changes to information with the Charity Commission.
Amati UK Ltd will store your data for the relevant periods of time required by HMRC and the Charity Commission (up to seven years), or a longer period if we are legally required to do so.
We are allowed by law to process your personal information to the extent that it is necessary for the purposes of Amati UK’s legitimate business interests in a way which does not unduly affect your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms. In addition, we are allowed to process personal information where you have consented. You can withdraw that consent at any time. In that event, please email contact@amati.co.uk. This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing done before you withdraw your consent.
You are entitled to request confirmation of whether we process any of your personal information. Where we do so, you may have access to that information and to certain information about how it is processed. If you can demonstrate that information we hold about you is incorrect, you can require us to correct it.
In certain circumstances you can request that we restrict the processing of your personal information and/or that we delete it (subject to any legal rights or obligations we may have to retain it). You can request this at any time and we will evaluate if your request should be granted. If we determine that your request to have your personal information deleted must be granted, we will delete the relevant information without delay.
We may update this notice from time to time so you may wish to refer to it periodically.
